What the test measures
- Latency (ping) — how many milliseconds a request takes to reach the server and come back. It matters for gaming, video calls and fast page loads.
- Jitter — how much latency varies from one request to the next. High jitter makes voice and video stutter.
- Download — how fast you receive data: browsing, video, file downloads.
- Upload — how fast you send data: backups, uploading files to a server, streaming.
How to get an accurate result
Close apps that use the network heavily — torrents, updates, cloud sync. To check your ISP plan, connect your computer by cable: Wi-Fi often limits speed more than the line itself. Repeat the test several times at different times of day.
Which server the test runs against
Data travels between your device and a MEVCORE server in Ukraine, so the result shows how fast you’ll work with sites and servers hosted with us. To check the connection between our data center and another host, use ping and traceroute.
